Our facilities and resources help students learn, create and stay connected. Whether it's for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments give students what they need to succeed from Year 7 through to Year 12.

Our Technology

Callaghan College is renowned as a leader in using technology to enhance learning and support best teaching practices. We use a robust online learning platform for lesson planning, student monitoring and communication with students and their families.

As a NSW public school, we have access to the latest shared programs and tools available, and we are one of the first schools to introduce AI into our teaching and learning practices.

Our systems

Canvas

Canvas LMS is a modern, user-friendly learning management system designed to enhance the educational experience for students, teachers, and administrators. It provides a platform for creating, managing, and delivering course content, facilitating collaboration, and tracking learning progress. With features like interactive assignments, multimedia integration, real-time feedback, and seamless communication tools, Canvas simplifies online and blended learning environments, empowering our teachers to engage and support students.

Sentral

Sentral is a comprehensive school management platform that streamlines administrative tasks and enhances communication with our families. It tracks attendance, behaviour management, reporting and parent engagement.

School Bytes

SchoolBytes is an administration platform designed to simplify fee management, streamline communication, and enhance operational efficiency. It is the tool we use across the campuses for managing student fees, invoicing, payments, and communication with families.

SharePoint

SharePoint is the digital platform we use to collaborate across faculties and campuses. It is our centralised hub for sharing news, resources, documents, and College-wide updates. It seamlessly integrates with Microsoft 365 tools, and supports our collaborative workplace culture.

Network

Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based device management platform that securely manages and protects our network-connected devices and applications. It enables our IT teams to control access, enforce security policies, and deploy software across a wide range of devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

Edval

Edval is a comprehensive school timetabling and resource management software designed to simplify the complex scheduling needs of schools. It offers powerful tools to create efficient, conflict-free timetables for students, teachers, and facilities while optimising resource allocation.
