A strong start
Wallsend and Waratah Campuses cater to students in Years 7–10. Both campuses offer an extensive selection of subject electives, as well as a comprehensive extra-curricular program. Our junior campuses use explicit teaching practices focusing in on literacy and numeracy, to help students build the necessary skills they need for senior study.
Dedicated HSC campus
Callaghan's Jesmond Senior Campus is designed for students to focus on HSC success. The campus caters exclusively to Year 11 and 12 students - this enables the broadest curriculum choice in the Hunter. With an experienced careers team, senior subject experts, and a senior learning pathways program, every student is well supported to reach their individual career goals.

This includes high potential and gifted students, students with additional needs or disability, and those who need wellbeing support. We also have a dedicated Aboriginal Learning team at each campus, and Learning and Support officers for students.
