Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
At Jesmond Senior Campus we also host Callaghan College's Year 12 Formal Assembly and Year 12 Formal Celebration, both key events in the final year of high school.

Year 12 students and staff celebrate their achievements and learning journeys at Newcastle City Hall at the end of the HSC examination period.
Year 12 Formal Presentation
Date: Term 3
The official assembly for our Year 12 students, to acknowledge the completion of their high school education. We welcome families to attend this special occasion.
Parent Teacher Night
Parents and carers are invited to meet with teachers discuss their child's learning.

Callaghan College CAPA Showcase
Date: Term 3
Students from across Callaghan College exhibit their creative art works and perform live at an evening performance staged at Jesmond Senior Campus.
Competitive swimming carnival
Date: Term 1
Competitive swimmers from across Callaghan College compete at our annual swimming carnival to progress to zone . We also hold a range of other competitions throughout the year in different sports codes.
