About our College

Welcome to Callaghan College, a vibrant high school community situated across three campuses.

At Callaghan, we champion academic excellence, personal growth and diverse enrichment opportunities - so every student can discover their passion and potential. Whether it's through Sport, Creative Arts, STEM, leadership or other pursuits, your child will find a place to shine.

Callaghan College Values

Our vision, “Empowering Every Learner,” reflects Callaghan’s commitment to supporting every student to grow, succeed and reach their potential. The vision pairs with the mission of the College: a vibrant learning culture where confident and creative students thrive.

Callaghan's core values are shared across all three campuses. These values of Respect, Responsibility and Excellence guide the learning culture and expectations for all Callaghan College students. These values underpin how students learn, interact and contribute to the wider school community.

At Jesmond Senior Campus, the additional value of Opportunity reflects the campus’s focus on helping students make the most of the many options available to them leading up to the HSC, and to explore their pathways for life after school.
